Senior Analyst Product Insights
Job Summary
Comcast/Xfinity is looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Sr. Analyst of Consumer Insights to support our growing Consumer Research & Insights function. This individual will support stakeholders in TPX and XGIE Consumer Product, reporting into the Director of Consumer Insights. Responsibilities include active, in-depth participation in consumer research projects and product trials from start to finish, including participating in meetings with stakeholders, vendor management, methodology design, data analysis, report development and refinement, and reporting research insights. The candidate will support in accessing the product experience for new products/features via product trials and consumer research through to launch. This role will also work closely with the Employee Product Trial team to collaborate on ways to streamline the trial process and look for synergies across teams. The ideal candidate has experience in UX research, a can-do attitude, a proven track record of working on multiple projects simultaneously, and an interest in being part of a new functionality in CR&I.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Work with Director, Consumer Insights to prioritize tasks and responsibilities as set below
- Actively participate in meetings with Consumer Research & Insights colleagues and stakeholders across TPX and XGIE to understand key business questions and consumer research needs
- Assist in design, development, and execution of both qualitative and quantitative research projects, supporting TPX and XGIE partners across all areas of the business (Internet, Mobile, Entertainment, Home)
- Design and implement custom product trials, product satisfaction studies, and new product/feature concept testing to evaluate Xfinity products and inform GTM
- Conduct user experience (UX) research to gather insights on product performance, customer behaviors and preferences
- Synthesize data and draft research results, key takeaways, and actionable insights through compelling storytelling (written and verbal). Understand stakeholders’ key business questions and be able to report in a way that is clear and compelling to them, including iterations
- Assist in managing external vendors and internal operations team through all phases of research projects
- Stay current on industry trends, and best practices in UX research
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary

- Able to work with minimal oversight on multiple concurrent projects across a variety of stakeholders
- Demonstrable presentation (communication and storytelling) skills to a variety of audiences
- Skilled at building and maintaining relationships with multiple partners, teammates, stakeholders, and vendors
- Empathy for research subjects as well as stakeholders
- Independent thinker, willing to advise on research process (design, tool, sample, reporting)
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of relevant work experience
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Capability to synthesize data from multiple sources and translate findings into actionable insights
- Flexibility—this is a new role and therefore there may be times of ambiguity
- Experience in (or an interest in learning about) the telecommunications industry
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- A can-do attitude – able to find solutions or work with larger team/company decisions
- Skilled in Office suite
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
Preferred Additional Skills (Not required, but nice to have):
- Previous experience in UX research
- Working knowledge of at least one statistical software package (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Working knowledge of at least one UX tool (UserTesting, Lookback)
- Experience leading in-depth interviews and/or moderating focus groups
- Has a sense of what skills they would like to grow and develop to continue their career development

Bachelor's Degree
