This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization & Team Overview
Comcast Business serves business customers by offering technology solutions ranging from ethernet, internet, WiFi connectivity. We power business of all sizes from small businesses to mid-market and large enterprise organizations making us one of the largest contributors to the growth of Comcast Cable.
The Comcast Business Accounting team is responsible for managing accounting operations including revenue reporting and analysis. Our team provides analytical support regarding financial statements and the general ledger through accurate and timely reporting/analysis of financial data to ensure revenue is accurately reported.
Role Description
As a member of the CB Accounting team, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, gain experience with highly useful reporting systems, and develop key data analytics skills that will provide value throughout your career.
As a Finance & Accounting Intern of the Comcast Business Accounting team, you will be using reporting tools/systems to capture relevant financial data, analyzing large datasets and key financial metrics, communicating findings/results to key business stakeholders.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
In your role, you learn how to develop reporting queries to pull financial data in order to analyze variances, identify root causes, and complete monthly reporting responsibilities. Through reporting and data analysis, you will assist in determining financial impacts and perform accounting activities to ensure we are recognizing revenue completely and accurately on a monthly basis.

Our team works with a large network throughout Comcast Business to provide financial data – You will play a key role in providing our stakeholders relevant data and analysis results which will grow your network, enhance your data and reporting skills, and grow your business acumen. Additionally, you will provide a new perspective on current processes and have the ability to identify and communicate potential automation opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Analyze and track key financial metrics and operational procedures
Perform analysis of financial statement accounts
Assist with the preparation of weekly, monthly and annual financial reports
Participates with the preparation of month-end processes by reviewing actual vs budget/forecast variances and reviewing financial trends
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Base Pay: $22.00
