Job Summary
The Technology, Product, Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of media and technology and our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products and next-generation technologies that transform the customer experience. The Comcast Network and CONNECTivity (CONNECT) organization is a highly agile, fast-paced, dedicated group at the forefront of change focused on innovating, building, and operating the best in class, most reliable access network for our customers. Comcast as one of the largest Internet service providers in the country maintains a very large and complex network consisting of millions of individual devices and components. As this network grows and evolves over time it’s crucial to have visibility into its health and bottlenecks which are critical to keeping our services online and customers happy. Our team NetIQ (Network Intelligence Quotient) plays an important role in this ecosystem as we have been tasked with providing this network visibility and monitoring capabilities to trigger and take action on problems that plague our network. As more and more network operation teams move away from “eyes on glass” style of network monitoring and embrace more real time data driven ticketing models, the scope and importance of this team’s contributions will only keep growing. As targeted focus is being put into improving event correlations across different layers of the network we find ourselves well on our way to realizing our goals of a self healing network which responds to network events and takes corrective actions seamlessly. So come join us and help build the next generation of network monitoring tools and be a part of this very exciting transformational phase of the company.Job Description
