Organization & Team Overview

The Freedom Region Marketing Team leads regional marketing efforts with a focus on hyperlocal strategies that elevate our brand and drive customer acquisition. The team also supports local sales operations, helping enable the success of our field sales organization through strategic alignment and operational support.

Role Description

As a Marketing Intern, you’ll be introduced to key areas of marketing through rotational experience that includes exposure to competitive strategy, product marketing, channel marketing, and sales enablement.

You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to exciting campaigns—such as Shore Rush, Summer Festival, and early planning for Fall Rush—and see firsthand how marketing ideas are brought to life.

Throughout the internship, you will:

  • Explore different marketing functions to understand how they support our sales teams and business goals.
  • Assist with real-time projects and campaigns that contribute to team success.
  • Learn foundational marketing concepts and how they’re applied in a corporate setting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and gain insight into Comcast’s organizational culture.

By the end of the internship, you’ll have a clearer understanding of the marketing field, practical experience to build your resume, and valuable connections to support your career journey

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with content creation, market research, campaign coordination, event planning, and sales support.
  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas and learn from professionals.
  • Help organize and track marketing materials and performance metrics.
  • Support digital marketing efforts, including social media and email campaigns.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze customer trends to support business insights and decision making.

  • Communication Skills – Able to express ideas clearly in writing and conversation.
  • Curiosity & Willingness to Learn – Eager to explore new areas and ask questions.
  • Team Collaboration – Enjoys working with others and contributing to group success.
  • Organization & Time Management – Can manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Creativity – Brings fresh ideas and a positive attitude to marketing discussions.
  • Digital Awareness – Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing tools is a plus.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency – Especially PowerPoint and Excel for presentations and data tracking
  • Preferred Majors: Business major with an emphasis or preference for marketing

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
  • Rising Junior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2027- Spring 2028)
  • Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating) 
  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
