Job Summary

The Business Operations Analyst supports the day-to-day operations of Comcast Netherlands / Metrological, providing local coordination across vendors, business teams and centralized Comcast functions. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role drives operational issues through resolution, supports vendor and contractor processes, and helps ensure effective execution of global Comcast processes within the local organization. This role is offered on a part-time basis (4 days per week).

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor & Supplier Operations

• Act as operational point of contact for key vendors and suppliers, supporting onboarding, ongoing administration and vendor relationships. 

• Coordinate vendor requirements across Comcast systems and functions, including Finance, Procurement, Security and Privacy. 

• Proactively manage vendor issues and operational blockers through resolution. 

Finance Operations Coordination

• Serve as the local interface with the US Finance team for vendor onboarding, invoice and payment-related activities. 

• Monitor and resolve payment exceptions, working with Finance and suppliers to prevent late payments, collections or service disruption. 

• Identify recurring issues and support improvements to vendor and invoice processes. 

Contractor & Agency Operations

• Coordinate operational relationships with contracting agencies, including onboarding/offboarding, SOWs, renewals and required approvals. 

• Work with business owners, Procurement, Legal and external agencies to ensure contracting processes are completed on time. 

• Coordinate recurring contractor administration and resolve operational issues impacting delivery. 

Compliance & Corporate Processes

• Coordinate vendor-related corporate processes, including security, privacy and procurement assessments and requirements. 

• Act as the operational interface between vendors, local stakeholders and relevant Comcast teams. 

• Track required actions and documentation through completion. 

Business Operations & Process Improvement

• Coordinate cross-functional operational activities and resolve issues that fall between local and centralized teams. 

• Identify process gaps and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and continuity. 

• Maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of operational issues, actions and dependencies. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Operations or related field, or equivalent experience. 

• Experience in business operations, business analysis, vendor management or a related role is preferred. 

• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to drive issues through resolution. 

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders across functions and geographies. 

• Experience with vendor, Finance/AP, Procurement or contractor processes preferred. 

• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Dutch is required.
