Software Engineer-0304
Job Description
DUTIES: Contribute to a team responsible for handling critical advertising platforms; plan and design new software and web applications; analyze, test and assist with the integration of new applications using Java and Go; perform unit testing using Junit, GoMocks, and GitHub Copilot; develop software applications using MySQL and DynamoDB; containerize applications using Docker; use AWS cloud services including Lambda, Amazon Personalized, S3, EC2, and OpenSearch; build CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Terraform, and Jenkins; develop software within an Agile development environment; oversee the documentation of all development activity; integrate knowledge of business and functional priorities; act as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; design and develop new software and web applications, supports applications under development and customizes current applications; develop software update process for existing applications; assist in the roll-out of software releases; oversee the researching, writing and editing of documentation and technical requirements, including evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports; review literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; assist in tracking and evaluating performance metrics; ensure team delivers software on time, to specification and within budget; and work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing backend software using Java and Go; performing unit testing using Junit, GoMocks, and GitHub Copilot; developing software applications using MySQL and DynamoDB; containerizing applications using Docker; using AWS cloud services including Lambda, Amazon Personalized, S3, EC2, and OpenSearch; building CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Terraform, and Jenkins; of which one (1) year includes developing software within an Agile development environment.
