We're looking for an exceptional leader to take on the role of Vice President, Technology Strategy, a pivotal position supporting the EVP, Chief Reliability Officer & Technology & Product Strategic Planning. As VP of Technology Strategy, you'll lead a small, high-performing team and act as a key thought partner in shaping the long-term vision, plans, and priorities of our Technology & Product organization. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning: Lead the development of the strategic overlay for the Annual Operating Plan (Budget) and Long Range Plan, ensuring alignment between our technology roadmap and broader enterprise goals.
Executive Advisory Support: Work closely with the EVP, Technology & Product Strategic Planning to prepare executive materials, develop investment theses, and support strategic decision-making.
Insights & Analysis: Monitor and synthesize trends across technology, customer behavior, industry shifts, and internal performance to inform strategy and priorities.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Build strong relationships across product/engineering, finance, and business units to align on strategy, resolve complex trade-offs, and enable cross-functional execution via Strategic Planning.
Special Projects: Lead or sponsor high-impact initiatives that require structured problem solving, cross-functional coordination, and strategic clarity.
AI & Monetization: Be ready to drive strategy for how T&P can use AI and drive growth via monetization of assets we own and can build upon
REQUIRED SKILL SETS
15+ years of experience in technology strategy, corporate strategy, product strategy, business development, or growth transformation roles
Experience in Telecommunications industries, ideally ISP and Mobile providers
Strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and ability to structure and communicate complex ideas clearly at multiple levels of an organization.
Deep interest in how technology and product can be used to unlock business value, improve customer experience, and drive strategic advantage.
Track record of effective cross-functional collaboration and executive engagement at the C-suite level.
Demonstrated ability to lead small, focused teams and manage through influence.
Understanding of Generative AI and how it unlocks business value.
A mindset of curiosity, initiative, ownership and bias for action.
