The UX Designer will have a hands-on role in the design of our front-line technician experiences. You’ll help shape product benefits around user needs to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces, with both sales and customer satisfaction-driven results. As part of your day-to-day, you’ll collaborate with teams including CX, Operational Functions, product, engineering, sales, content strategy, and research. You’ll help drive the delivery of digital applications that feature outstanding user experience and elegant design aesthetics as well as customer journey maps. - Core Responsibilities
- Coordinates and contributes to the experience design for external digital communications, internal apps, and web sites for the company, including content development, user research, user-centered design processes, project leadership and user experience prototyping and development.
- Assists in efforts to expand and enhance the digital delivery channels of the company, improving the user experience for accessing current and future projects, research, data, new applications, multi-media content and other types of initiatives that support the mission of the company.
- Specializes in user experience strategy and design.
- Works with moderate guidance while also demonstrating the ability to lead projects and initiatives autonomously.
- Designs and prototypes for web, mobile, and other digital delivery platforms.
- Reviews data on competing products and recommends design solutions for existing and future products.
- Executes interaction design and visual design as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Under leadership direction, partners with Product and Engineering to design, and prototype key user flows and interactions.
- Designs the variations of new and existing user experiences in products.
- Assist with compiling and presenting to the project lead, quantitative and qualitative ideas, sketches, research findings, and other deliverables.
- · Takes responsibility for the user interface: identify problems, propose solutions, recommend implementations, and execute UI solutions to improve the user experience.
- Has experience and a great understanding of customers to recommend UI features that solve customer needs.
- · Delivers high quality work on tight schedules in a dynamic, agile product environment.
- Produces interactive prototypes for internal experimentation and usability testing, and tests UI in a rigorous, data-driven way.
- In partnership with the Sr. Designer, writes intuitive style guides and design specifications.
- Supports, communicates, course-corrects, and revises throughout the development phase, partnering closely with the development team to ensure high quality launches.
- Demonstrates a command of usability and accessibility standards in partnership with visual and interface design disciplines and principles.
- Maintains a critical eye and an obsessive attention to detail.
- Analyzes relevant internal and external sites to determine best practices. Develops, tests, and refines prototypes.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Salary:
Pay Range: This job can be performed in Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, and Minnesota with a Pay Range of $79,135.20 - $130,573.08

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus. While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
