Sr. Technical Program Manager, Release & Triage Engineering

We have an exciting role for a Technical Program Manager in Release & Triage Engineering team within the Global Device Group. Our team works closely with our internal and external development partners to develop, test and deploy the software on Comcast’s Connectivity and Entertainment customer premises equipment (CPE) platforms. We are looking for a highly motivated Program Manager , who will help drive change and help others to constantly come up with better solutions to evaluate product quality, performance, and the customer experience; as well as make a suggestion for improvements. We are looking for someone who does not just know how to solve problems, but who helps define the problems and direction, creates value, and pioneers new frontiers in Release & Triage Engineering functions. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing post release operations engineering workflow.Job Description

Core Responsibilities
- Program Leadership and Execution: Lead the planning and management of release schedules and deliverables. Day to Day Program updates on Release timelines, Deployment status, Stakeholder communication and Backlog Management.
- Design and Scope Management: Drive and actively participate in crucial product, requirements reviews. Efficiently handle scope changes to minimize impacts on project timelines and outcomes.
- Multi-functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison for the technical team in multi-functional discussions, ensuring alignment on project goals, results and time to market. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and external partners. Communicate effectively to keep stakeholders informed of project status, risks, and changes.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify risks and dependencies, develop mitigation strategies, and advance issues to leadership as vital. Proactively address issues and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution.
- Communication: Provide regular updates on program status, highlighting challenges and proposing solutions to internal partners, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Change Management: Lead change initiatives within the program, guiding teams through transitions and ensuring buy-in from stakeholders. Anticipate and address resistance to change to facilitate smooth implementation.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports and documentation to track program progress, expenditures, and outcomes. Present findings to senior management and stakeholders as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Leverage insights and standard processes from completed programs to drive continuous improvement in processes and outcomes for future projects.
- Continually improve processes, optimize workflow, and maintain the highest quality levels.
Experience/Skills
- A Bachelor degree in Engineering is required; a Master's degree is helpful.
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5+ years in a technical program management role, ideally within multi-functional teams.
- RDK or Android Device/embedded development and/or device engineering experience a plus.
- Experience in Engineering Operations such as Release Management, Product Delivery, Deployment and Development Triage teams is helpful.
- Solid track record of successfully leading complex, large-scale Programs.
- Proficient in leading operations and adopting change, maintaining flexibility and composure in uncertain situations.
- Additionally, professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) may be preferred or required depending on the organization and industry.
- Proven ability to works with technology partner/vendor teams to troubleshoot problems

- Highly self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to engage in critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of optimally articulating sophisticated technical issues and solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate on global projects across teams and time zones
