Sr. Manager, Internal Communications
Job Summary
The Sr. Manager, Internal Communications develops and executes employee communications and engagement strategies in support of our Finance, Legal, Strategic Development, and Enterprise Business Intelligence teams. These strategies connect teammates to our business strategy and culture, while reinforcing and elevating the business unit leaders’ vision and goals across teams of 200 to 2,400. In addition, this role is responsible for developing communication campaigns to disseminate information to the employee base on behalf of these teams, including policy and process related communications and news. The ideal candidate is a trusted partner and skilled communicator that is focused on driving business objectives, team engagement outcomes, and change management initiatives. This role reports to the Director, Internal Communications and is highly collaborative with leaders, peers, and cross-functional teams across the organization. This job is an individual contributor role that does not have direct responsibility or supervision of staff but may directly and indirectly manage the work of other teammates or vendors.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Develops and executes internal communications strategies that advance business and employee engagementobjectives
Translates goals and context into comprehensive communications plans – Approachingtacticsthrough the application of marketing/communications andchange management best practices
Defines and proposes key messaging, telling a compelling story and clearly articulating value to the business and to employees
Writeseffectively and withappropriate toneacross leader messages, talking points, presentations, intranet content, digital signage, FAQs, videos, etc.
Advisesand supportsleaders and peers to achieve desired outcomes– Builds trustedpartnerships and manages through influence
Develops and executes project plans and coordinateswithpartners and other Internal Communicators to ensure alignment and the effective dissemination of messaging and materials
Uses data and analytics toestablishsuccess metrics, guide stakeholders in interpreting results, andoptimizestrategies and campaigns
Manages consultants/contracted resources as needed, including graphic designers, creative agencies, event planning firms, etc.
Graphic design and video production experience is desirable
Regular,consistentand punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s)and overtime as necessary

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
Six to seven+ years of experience as a communicator
Experience navigating large, complex organizations and working with cross-functional teams
Highly professional and comfortable interacting and consulting with senior executives across the organization; ability to develop effective partnerships at all levels
Experience managing many projects in a fast-paced environment
Experience executing high impact deliverables across a range of tactics andmediums:written, presentation, events, videos, social platforms, digital content and more.
Experience in applying change managementmethodologyis desired
Efficient, fast-working, results-oriented
Ability to work independently and within a deadline-driven environment.
Highproficiencyin Microsoft Office and 365 applications (OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Share Point
Proficiencyin graphic design applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, etc.) and video production a plus
