Sr. Manager, Enterprise Procurement
Job Summary
Comcast is looking for a Senior Manager to join the Enterprise Procurement team to focus on Fixed Network Infrastructure across Comcast Cable, Sky and NBCUniversal. This category includes Routers, Switches, and Optical Transport hardware & associated software, as well as the services involved in deploying and maintaining the hardware & associated software in Comcast’s network. In this role, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders and senior leadership to develop and execute category strategies that support Comcast’s growth, efficiency, and reliability targets. This role reports to the Executive Director of Fixed Network & Wireless Infrastructure. Candidates should possess excellent communication and influencing skills, global collaboration experience and the ability to manage complex negotiations with a strategic data-driven approach. Key technical skills for the role include category and supplier management, negotiation skills, and strong financial acumen. An understanding of communications technology and fixed network industry is beneficial but not required.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Develop & execute category strategies that align with business needs & market dynamics, while mitigating risk.
- Lead RFPs and bespoke negotiations, for new engagements and renewals.
- Lead negotiations on commercial and contractual T&Cs.
- Assist with building and maintaining strong executive-level supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Assist with budget planning and support contract renewals.
- Analyze data (spend, savings, offers) & translate insights into clear presentations to guide decision-making.
- Drive strategy alignment and influence decisions across global teams in a matrix environment.
- Visualize information to effectively communicate ideas, strategies, data, etc. to senior leadership audiences.
- Work with Comcast procurement systems and tools to effectively manage projects and report results & savings.
- Contribute to special projects across the Enterprise Procurement team (communications, process improvements, learning & development, etc.).
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Ability to pivot/update strategy as requirements and market conditions change.
- Commercial mindset and strong data analysis skills, including data visualization skills.
- Demonstrate independence & initiative, while knowing when to seek guidance before pursuing a path too far.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, with 7+ years related experience. Degrees in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain/Operations are preferred, but other majors accepted with the right work experience.
- Consulting experience, Business Development, Telecom/Cable experience is a plus.
- Highly proficient with Excel, Smartsheet, PowerPoint, Financial Analysis and Modeling.
