Job Summary

Comcast Business is looking for a Specialist of Research and Insights to support CB’s continued growth as a brand and business. This role within the Brand Marketing organization and Brand Strategy team will support key research initiatives that impact all segments (Small Business, Enterprise, and Public Sector) that Comcast Business serves. This role will be highly cross-functional, working across various teams – including Commercial Marketing, Digital, and Customer Solutions – to develop and execute research initiatives that lead to best-in-class strategy and execution. This role is an exciting opportunity to support the continued growth of Comcast Business at Comcast HQ in Philadelphia. This individual will work with their leader to develop and execute research initiatives including on-going brand health tracking, communications/advertising, and message testing as well as bespoke qualitative and quantitative studies depending on the project need. This person will support the operational set up of research including working with third party research partners, identifying new partners, and socializing research plans across the organization. Individual will have the opportunity to be engaged in all types of research and will be expected to be able to synthesize research and report out results at various levels of the organization. This individual will report into a Manager of Brand Insights & Research.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support research planning for Comcast Business, developing annual research plan that aligns to brand and business objectives and working with other teams who are conducting research to align plans as needed
  • Input into annual brand KPIs and track to annual goals related to brand health
  • Support key brand and business initiatives with research and insights – including, but not limited to, new solution launches, ad hoc message and claims testing, event / brand activation testing, creative concept validation, and more
  • Partner with cross-functional teammates to identify research needs and lead development of research plans that will yield impactful insights and drive to meaningful action
  • Support leader in executing research projects from start to finish, bringing along key stakeholders at all levels, including senior management
  • Provide on-going insights and intelligence through syndicated research tools and competitive intelligence sources
  • Support ad hoc research requests from stakeholders across the business
  • Manage research vendors and partners and identify best partners for various project opportunities
  • Lead management of research budget, working with Finance team to manage annual research budget and vendor scoping and invoicing
