Job Summary

Corp Legal Systems Specialist supports stakeholders and users of Legal systems and tools. This role acts as a subject matter expert for legal systems and technology related inquiries and projects. This role is an important interface and accountable resource between non-technical legal stakeholders and IT regarding usage providing business support and training. This role is responsible for all business configuration requirements and related design activities working in collaboration with peers as well as IT partners. The Corp Legal Systems Specialist primarily supports Legal teams within Comcast Corporate, however also may provide support to Comcast Cable, Spectacor, NBCU, and Sky teams.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provides business first line support to legal teams as it relates to usage of various legal systems (i.e. iManage, Mitratech, Tymetrix, Anaqua, Zavanta, etc.)
  • Collaborates with IT for enhanced support requests, acting as liaison between non-technical users and programmers / architects, in resolving issues and addressing any questions and/or challenges
  • Serves as subject matter expert and point of contact for legal systems related inquiries and requests
  • Understands processes involved in the broader end-to-end procure to pay process as it relates to contracts and legal documents
  • Responsible for business configuration(s) consultation, implementation, testing and maintenance
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of process design and redesign skills, and collaborates with business stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements, providing user feedback to management to influence future enhancement requests
  • Designs, documents, and tests system enhancements, and ensures production support and resolution of any defects, and plays an active role in related rollout, training and communication
  • Executes project tasks and contributes to the development of project plans and timelines
  • Provides reporting when and as needed
  • Consistently exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Supports department objectives and performs other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

  • Exhibits a commitment to continuously self-improve by working with management to leverage strengths and focus on areas of development
  • Displays regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), as necessary. Out-of-town travel may be required at up to approximately 20%.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
