Senior Principal Software Architect, Global Platform Management
Job Summary
This job is responsible for defining and evolving the architecture of Connected Living products and experiences. The role drives the resolution of complex technical issues while balancing tactical and strategic objectives, with a focus on creating scalable, secure, and resilient customer-facing solutions. This individual will partner across product, engineering, and architecture teams to shape long-term technical strategy, establish architectural direction, and drive consistency across an interconnected Connected Living product ecosystem.Job Description
Responsibilities:
Championing the development and execution of enterprise software programs, ensuring alignment with strategic business initiatives.
Defining and evolving the technical architecture for Connected Living products and experiences, enabling seamless, intuitive, and differentiated customer experiences.
Spearheading collaborations with enterprise architecture, product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to create solutions that address complex business needs while promoting architectural consistency across a broader Connected Living product ecosystem.
Driving cross-product ecosystem architecture, ensuring customer-facing capabilities are designed as a cohesive platform experience rather than a collection of independent features or services.
Overseeing the architecture of solutions that are robust, operable, maintainable, and scalable, ensuring timely delivery and operational excellence.
Establishing architectural patterns and shared services that promote interoperability, consistency, and reuse across mobile applications, web experiences, cloud services, connected devices, and partner platforms.
Partnering with product and engineering leadership to translate customer needs, business objectives, and product strategy into scalable, technical roadmaps and architectural direction.
Analyzing and applying emerging technological trends to innovate and enhance system architectures, with a focus on connected home, networking, and digital experience capabilities.
Providing expert mentorship in advanced technologies and implementation architecture, elevating team capabilities and technical leadership.
Influencing overall system implementation strategy and engaging in high-level forums to align technology with business evolution while ensuring a cohesive architecture across interconnected customer-facing products and platforms.
Leading architectural decisions that improve reliability, performance, observability, security, and operational excellence across the Connected Living product ecosystem.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Required Skills:
10+ years experience in software architecture, distributed systems design, and large-scale customer-facing platforms.
Proven experience defining and evolving architecture for complex digital products, services, and platform ecosystems.
Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and modern integration patterns.
Experience designing shared platforms, reusable services, and architectural patterns that promote interoperability and consistency across products.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional architectural initiatives spanning product, engineering, platform, and enterprise architecture teams.
Experience translating product strategy, customer needs, and business objectives into scalable technical roadmaps and architectural direction.
Strong understanding of reliability, performance, observability, security, and operational excellence principles.
Experience evaluating emerging technologies and applying them to solve complex business and technical challenges.
Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups and executive forums.
Experience mentoring engineers and technical leaders and driving adoption of architectural best practices.
Preferred Skills
Experience with connected home, networking, broadband, IoT, smart device, or digital experience platforms.
Experience architecting mobile, web, cloud, and device-integrated solutions as part of a unified product ecosystem.
Familiarity with customer identity, personalization, telemetry, analytics, and customer experience platforms.
Experience operating in a product-led environment with responsibility for long-term platform strategy and technical governance.
