Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Partnership Strategy & Operations will focus on corporate partnerships revenue growth across Comcast Spectacor’s portfolio of live sports and entertainment properties including the Philadelphia Flyers (NHL), Philadelphia Wings (NLL), Xfinity Live! and the Wells Fargo Center, one of the nation’s top arenas, home of the Philadelphia 76ers (NBA), and host to the world’s top touring artists. The position will lead a team responsible for assisting in developing, pitching and executing sponsorship programs that deliver measurable value to both our brand partners and our properties. The candidate will play a key role in identifying our sponsorship go-to-market and pricing strategy, building client presentation materials and our storytelling approach, conceptualizing sellable sponsorship programs and inventory, market research and data, and ensuring effective delivery and partnership reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sponsorship marketing within the sports and entertainment industry.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and assist in the execution of comprehensive sponsorship strategies aligned with brand goals, audience insights and revenue objectives for the Philadelphia Flyers and Wells Fargo Center.
  • Create custom partnership proposals and solutions tailored to sponsor needs that include a sales narrative through creative storytelling and data that provide a strong value proposition for corporate partners.
  • Development of best-in-class client-facing materials (e.g., presentations, proposals, recap decks, etc.) for the sales and client solutions team
  • Track, analyze, and report on sponsorship performance and ROI.
  • Manage external relationships with data insights vendors, inclusive of contract negotiation & vendor selection.
  • Stay current with sponsorship trends, competitor activity, and industry innovation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, BSA, marketing and other internal departments on behalf of the corporate partnership department.
  • Support senior leadership in long-term sponsorship planning and portfolio development.
  • Identifying and packaging market research and other data to support rationale behind partnerships
  • Reporting on the success of existing partnerships incorporating data.
  • Management of the team’s CRM system and related reporting
  • Go-to-Market Pricing strategy for sponsorship assets related to the Flyers, Wells Fargo Center & Wings
  • Contract management process including organizational approvals.
  • Support financial reporting including budget, cost management and forecasting.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
