Senior Director, Human Resources
Job Summary
The Corporate & Cable HQ HR team is seeking a Senior Director, HR to support various teams within the HQ Finance & Accounting organization. The teams are comprised of FP&A, Supply Chain, PMO and Facilities groups which are primarily based in Philadelphia. The Senior Director, HR will be a key strategic HR leader for the HQ Finance & Accounting organization. He/she will develop and implement effective organizational health strategies not only for their client groups but influence broader initiatives that span all F&A. He/she will partner with our COEs to drive initiatives and use insights from data, employee feedback, and leader feedback to recommend workforce solutions to support the achievement of organizational goals. He/she will need to be strategic, analytical, and progressive. The ideal candidate has functional experience with org design, change management, leadership coaching, compensation strategy, analytics and employee engagement. This HR leader will manage a small team of HR business partners. They should have demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing HR team.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Oversees the development, implementation and coordination of policies and procedures for the Human Resources department to establish and maintain an effective department through managing, advising and motivating department employees.
- Counsels management and employees on disciplinary actions and performance problems.
- Oversees government, legal and regulatory requirements and/or complaints in various areas.
- Develops Human Resources strategies for business groups that includes workforce planning, pay-for-performance, talent management, talent acquisition and succession.
- Partners with business leaders to achieve organization and business alignment.
- Leads department personnel, including direct supervision, hiring, training and performance management.
- Partners with senior management to develop strategic HR goals, policies and programs that align with business initiatives.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
