Senior Director, Energy Services Integration & Business Optimization
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategically minded individual to identify and drive opportunities and synergies between Comcast’s existing core business operations and Solar Energy World (SEW), a recent acquisition that is now a key component of our newly formed Energy Services business unit. This individual will be instrumental in supporting the integration of SEW’s technology, system, and people into the broader Comcast framework. As the primary liaison between SEW and essential support functions within Comcast, this role is pivotal to achieving seamless, high-impact alignment across all business areas. Responsible for the overall management and strategic planning involved with important and large-scale business projects. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions. Contributes to the development of the organization's business strategy. Interprets business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy. Job Description
Identify and leverage synergies between Comcast’s core cable business and SEW's solar energy services to drive cross functional initiatives and leverage shared resources.
Oversee and support the seamless integration of SEW technology and systems, ensuring compatibility, performance enhancement, and alignment with Comcast infrastructure, while coordinating across departments and communicating progress and challenges to senior leaders.
Oversee onboarding processes and cultural integration, promoting alignment with Comcast values and seamless incorporation of SEW personnel
Facilitate collaboration between SEW and Comcast teams, including legal, procurement, and finance, to ensure a smooth transition through standardized processes and workflows that promote operational consistency across the combined entity.
Support other initiatives and project management tasks as required to advance the integration and business optimizationobjectives.
Ensure timely delivery of projects, maintaininghigh standards of quality and efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
- Handles research, design and development of corporate level projects that deliver cost-effective services to support the Company's business objectives.
- Reviews successes and failures of completed projects. Recommends alternatives or adjustments to correct problems or solidify successes in the perspective of current and proposed operating strategies.
- Evaluates outside service providers or contractors; provides direction in the development of tailored services; negotiates contract terms and conditions.
- Directs project teams in the development and implementation of project plans. 'Instructs team on project-specific assignments.
- Comcast experience strongly preferred.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
