Job Summary

The Senior Analyst of Global Risk Management (GRM) is responsible for supporting Global Risk Management in various risk and insurance functions while developing and maintaining respectful, collaborative relationships with diverse constituents within Cable, NBCU and Sky. Responsible for balancing competing priorities and performing essential risk management functions including: • Support various insurance programs including Global Property, Aviation, Crime, and the Surety Bond program. • Assist renewals and data collection with brokers, insurers, and internal colleagues. • Develop proficiency within risk engineering and loss prevention discipline. • Liaise and collaborate with Safety, EHS, Facilities, vendors, service providers and property insurers. • Assist with asset valuation and validation.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Support renewal efforts and program placements by collecting, evaluating, and analyzing underwriting submissions for completeness.
  • Perform day-to-day risk management and insurance functions to successfully manage current and expired programs.
  • Participate in underwriting meetings with brokers and carriers.
  • Provide cross-organizational collaboration and direction from a risk management perspective which impacts and/or interfaces with multiple functional areas including Global Real Estate, Legal, Global Facilities, Finance, Sourcing, and EHS.
  • Coordinate property insurer inspections for Cable/NBCU/Sky engineered locations prioritized by mission criticality and current loss expectancy. Work with Global Risk Management, the facility management team, and key partners to ensure the risk engineering recommendations are understood, implementable, and acceptable based on risk tolerance and cost.
  • Involvement in the plan design review for all new facility acquisitions (Cable, NBCU, Sky), builds and/or renovations to proactively communicate measures to prevent or minimize property damage and resulting business interruption.
  • Assess and effectively communicate business risks regarding risk exposures that may have operational and financial impact.
  • Collaborate with various service providers including risk engineering, insurers, and brokers as well as internal Comcast partners to ensure open and ongoing communication of risk exposures.
  • Assist with the accurate reporting of facility information and values for approximately 3,800 U.S. and international properties.
  • Assist with claims management when needed.

Requirements:

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree (Business/Liberal Studies/Risk Management)

Years Experience: 1-3 years related experience

Expected Travel: Approximately 10% (underwriting meetings, engineering inspections, consulting with internal stakeholders)
