Xumo, a joint venture between Comcast and Charter Communications, was formed to develop and offer a next-generation streaming platform for the entire entertainment industry. The company consists of three primary lines of business: Xumo devices, Xumo Play, and Xumo Enterprise. Powered by Comcast’s global entertainment platform, Xumo devices feature a world-class user interface with universal voice search capabilities, making it easy for consumers to find and enjoy their favorite streaming content. Xumo Play is a free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service offering hundreds of linear channels and on-demand options. Xumo Enterprise provides tools and services for content creators, distributors, and advertisers to make FAST content more accessible.

Job Summary

This role serves as a strategic leader and execution driver, ensuring that partner-requested features are successfully delivered through cross-functional collaboration, rigorous planning, and proactive risk management supporting Xumo. This role bridges external partner needs with internal product and engineering execution, including roadmap development. This role requires a technical understand, the ability to recognize opportunities & problem solve while working closely with stakeholders and other business leaders.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Partner Engagement & Feature Discovery

- Deep dive with partners to understand the business context, goals, and technical nuances of feature requests.

- Translate partner needs into clear, actionable inputs for internal teams.

- Build trust and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders.

2. Product & Engineering Collaboration

- Support product leads in refining and submitting business requirements.

- Ensure alignment between partner expectations and product strategy.

- Facilitate technical feasibility assessments with engineering teams.

3. Program Planning & Execution

- Develop comprehensive end-to-end program plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource needs.

- Define and manage program scope, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.

- Drive execution across multiple workstreams, ensuring timely delivery.

4. Progress Tracking & Risk Management

- Monitor program progress using dashboards, status reports, and regular check-ins.

- Identify risks and blockers early; escalate and drive resolution.

- Ensure transparency and accountability across all levels of the organization.

5. Outcome Measurement & Reporting

- Track feature delivery outcomes against partner expectations and business KPIs.

- Provide executive-level reporting and insights on program health and impact.

- Conduct retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.

Scope of Influence

- Cross-functional leadership across Product, Engineering, Design, QA, and Partner Success teams.

- Strategic alignment with senior leadership on roadmap priorities and partner commitments.

- Operational excellence in program delivery, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.

Skills & Experience Required

- Strong technical acumen to understand engineering constraints and architecture.

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Proven experience in program management methodologies

- Ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity in complex environments.

Additional Info:

Position is office based in Philadelphia, PA- 4 days a week in office/1 day remote
