Job Summary

The Philadelphia Wings are looking for aspiring sports professionals who are organized, self-motivated, customer oriented, and capable of being adaptable in a fast-paced environment. A qualified candidate should be able to work both independently and within a team, handle multiple projects at once, and achieve objectives set forth by their supervisor and themselves. Candidates selected will be given the opportunity to play a direct role in multiple areas of the Wings’ Ticketing operation, ultimately finishing their internship with credible, tangible experiences to add to their resume.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support daily ticket sales operations, including lead prospecting, customer follow-up, and order fulfillment
  • Assist with the execution of ticket-related activations and promotions
  • Contribute to the game day experience, including various client services and group ticket execution duties
  • Utilize team resources and personal creativity to develop sales programs and personally execute campaigns to drive revenue for the business
  • Represent the Wings at community events and networking functions to generate leads, promote the brand, and sell tickets
  • Deliver top-tier customer service to both current clients and prospective fans
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing Season Ticket Member and sales prospecting events,
  • Provide first-class service and support

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
  • Reliable transportation to/from the Sports Complex and the broader Greater Philadelphia region
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while working effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated communicator who follows direction and functions well in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for sports and entertainment
