Job Summary

The Manager, Real Estate Administration, will drive operational excellence across our diverse real estate portfolio. This role combines leadership with strategic process improvement, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and innovation in portfolio management and lease administration.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership
    • Responsible for the full scope of Real Estate Administration services including abstracting and interpreting commercial lease documents
    • Client/vendor/landlord relationship management
    • Training and oversight of dozens of field employees
    • Respond to Lease Analyst questions regarding procedures, lease interpretation, and billing calculations
    • Provide guidance on complex lease issues and ensure consistent practices across business units.
  • Process Design & Improvement
    • Develop and implement standardized workflows for lease abstraction, renewals, and compliance.
    • Identify operational inefficiencies and lead initiatives to streamline processes using technology and automation to include AI.
  • Portfolio Analysis & Reporting
    • Prepare reporting on lease expirations, renewals, and financial obligations.
    • Track, maintain, and report out on critical dates.
    • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
    • Support budgeting and forecasting for real estate expenses.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Finance, Legal, and Transaction Management teams on lease negotiations and portfolio strategy.
    • Control occupancy costs through annual OpEx reviews and CAM Audits to include Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis.
    • Act as liaison between field operations and corporate headquarters for escalations and process alignment.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in lease administration or real estate operations, including team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of portfolio management systems (Lucernex preferred) and financial analysis.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives and manage change effectively.

Salary:

Pay Range: This job can be performed in Denver Campus with a Pay Range of $96,672.07 - $159,508.92
