Job Summary

The Manager, Movie Merchandising Strategy & Revenue is responsible for leading strategic partnerships, editorial planning, and performance optimization across the transactional movie lifecycle. This role serves as the key liaison between major studios, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive revenue, enhance customer engagement, and deliver best-in-class movie experiences across Xfinity platforms.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day partner lead for major studios. Attend studio calls to capture priorities across new releases, catalog titles, and sales opportunities. Facilitate business reviews and prepare materials to support performance discussions, forecasting, and partnership growth. Collaborate with internal marketing and advertising teams to elevate studio initiatives.
  • Provide monthly financial commentary and serve as the key contact for forecasting updates. Manage Tableau and Looker dashboards in collaboration with internal data teams.
  • Collaborate with internal technology teams to drive key product enhancements across our platforms.
  • Lead the movie merchandising strategy across all platforms. Develop and execute editorial tests to drive awareness and engagement. Prioritize titles strategically based on performance, release timing, and promotional opportunities. Maintain the internal movie schedule and assign light performance projections to support planning.
  • Own the movie editorial experience for major seasonal and cultural events such as The Oscars, Halloween, and Holiday, ensuring cohesive and engaging content experience for our customers.
  • Support the broader editorial team with programming across multiple content management systems, including validation and troubleshooting.
  • Manage a Sr. Specialist responsible for movie programming, merchandising, calendars, and editorial stunts.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5-7 years of related experience.
  • Experience managing studio/network partnerships, content strategy, or digital merchandising.
  • Deep knowledge and passion for movies and pop culture, with a foundational understanding of entertainment industry economics.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively across teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience with forecasting and performance reporting.
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven, with a track record of owning projects end-to-end.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and decision-making under pressure, especially when managing high-profile projects with tight deadlines and unexpected challenges.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen, with a focus on achieving revenue and financial targets.
