Manager, Marketing Resource Management Operations
Job Summary
Hybrid Opportunity; 4 days onsite, 1 day remote (Monday OR Friday) Location: PA - Philadelphia, 1701 John F Kennedy Blvd Summary: Reporting to the Director of Resource & Workflow Operations, you will oversee resource allocation and optimize resource utilization across projects and departments, particularly the creative department. Your expertise in resource planning and management will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient delivery of advertising deliverables and achieving organizational goals. The ideal candidate possesses a strategic mindset, strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities and solid understanding of the workings within creative resources. Within this role, the Manager, Marketing Resource Management and Operations will develop strong relationships with counterparts in Financial Operations, Program Management, Creative and Production for deadline sensitive staffing requirements. Support a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous learning to achieve deliverables aligned to business outcomes. Balance multiple priorities simultaneously and adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines. Enable reporting that includes management dashboards, metrics process improvements, and enable complex problem solving.Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement resource planning strategies to align resource allocation with project demands and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with program managers, department heads and stakeholders to understand resource requirements and project timelines.
- Optimize resource utilization by identifying and resolving conflicts, bottlenecks or imbalances in resource allocation.
- Track and report on resource utilization, analyzing data and providing suggestions for resource optimization.
- Monitor resource utilization trends and making proactive adjustments to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Maintain a comprehensive overview of available resources, including personnel, equipment and materials, ensuring their availability and suitability for projects.
- Coordinate with external resourcing firms, procurement and other relevant departments to ensure timely availability of resources as per project requirements.
- Implement and maintain resource management tools, systems and processes to enhance visibility, transparency and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in resource management, applying relevant knowledge to improve organizational processes.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Examples Of Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- 3-6+ years’ experience in resource planning, project management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of resource planning, allocation and optimization principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in using resource management software and tools to track, analyze and report on resource utilization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess resource demands and optimize resource allocation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A detail-oriented mindset to maintain accurate resource records and documentation.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- A strategic perspective, with the ability to think proactively and implement resource management strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Ability to navigate ambiguous situations, bring options and provide recommendation.
- Strong listening and comprehension skills, as well as the ability to develop and clearly articulate a perspective.
- Highly developed sense of accountability and follow-through with an ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and goals.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills needed to delivery timely on requested projects.
- Experience in area of marketing and advertising beneficial, creative agency experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word, and experience in other Microsoft Office applications, Smartsheet, Workfront and SharePoint preferred.
