Manager, Innovation Communications and Visual Narrative
Job Summary
The Manager, Innovation Communications and Visual Narrative, brings Comcast’s technology, product, and innovation vision to life through clear, visually compelling internal and external communications. This is a hands-on production role with a high expectation for output, precision, and excellence. You’ll create the materials that define how Comcast tells its innovation story — from executive presentations and keynotes, to press, analyst, and investor visuals, fact sheets, data narratives, and explainers. Every deliverable must distill complex technology and product strategy into simple, accessible stories that inspire understanding and further our position as tech and innovation leaders. This role is best suited for someone with a newsroom, corporate editorial, or similarly scaled technology and innovation background who thrives in fast-moving environments. You’ll manage high volumes of content, handle tight deadlines, and think both visually and strategically. You’ll collaborate across Corporate Communications and its partners, the Connectivity & Platforms group, and Technology & Product leaders, working closely with Digital Communications to ensure every piece of content is clear, consistent, and suited for multiple modes of delivery. The ideal person is production-minded with strategic awareness: ideal for someone who wants to build things, not just discuss them.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Produce high-quality executive and keynote materials that communicate Comcast’s technology, innovation, and product strategy for internal and external audiences.
Translate complex technical and data-heavy ideas into clear, visual narratives through presentations, infographics, and story-driven design.
Design and refine presentations with advanced skill in PowerPoint/Keynote — expertise in layout, hierarchy, and storytelling flow are essential.
Create supporting materials (fact sheets, data visualizations, product narratives, and one-pagers) that simplify complexity and drive understanding.
Contribute to the creative strategy behind internal events, product launches, and campaigns, ensuring a consistent and credible visual narrative.
Apply a newsroom mindset — proactive, deadline-driven, and detail-obsessed — to meet tight turnarounds without sacrificing quality.
Balance speed and substance: execute with urgency while maintaining brand consistency and clarity of message.
Exercise editorial judgment and discretion when developing or handling confidential materials and executive communications.
Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and feedback loops across senior stakeholders and multiple delivery formats.
Demonstrate the polish, judgment, and professionalism to confidently collaborate with senior leaders and executives.
Ability to scale up and down to handle both small-scale tactical communication and large needle-moving announcements and events.
Qualifications
5–7 years of experience in communications, editorial content design, or newsroom storytelling — ideally within a technology, media, or corporate innovation setting.
Demonstrated ability to distill complex topics (data, product concepts, or business strategy) into simple, visual, high-impact stories.
Exceptional writing, editing, and visual communication skills.
Advanced PowerPoint and Keynote proficiency — ability to design from scratch and structure large, narrative-driven decks.
Expert experience with data visualization and design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Infogram, or similar tools) a major plus.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Passion for innovation, technology, and how things work.
Collaborative and outcome oriented.
Strong editorial instincts and curiosity for harvesting stories of innovation.
