Manager, Human Resources, Strategic Initiatives
Job Summary
The Manager Human Resources, Strategic Initiatives, will drive the strategy and execution of operating plan efforts for Comcast Media Sales from a people-care perspective. They will lead Media Sales -wide projects focused on culture and employee experience, ensuring alignment with broader HR and business priorities. Additionally, this position will provide HR Business Partner support for a defined portion of the business and be responsible for partnering with assigned client organizations and Human Resources team(s) to ensure strategies and initiatives are met. Coordinates recruitment, compliance, benefits, compensation and employee relations activities to maximize employee resources. Serves as subject matter expert and provides guidance to employees as required. Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies. Assists in the development and meeting of departmental budget. Strong analytical skills are essential, as this role will monitor, track, and report key initiative progress. Core Responsibilities
HR Strategic Initiatives Related Responsibilities:
- Drive the strategy and execution of Comcast Media Sales-wide people-care initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s operating plan.
- Drive culture and employee experience projects, fostering an engaging and inclusive workplace.
- Provide just-in-time support for the Media Sales HR team on organizational design and transformation efforts.
- Serve as the primary liaison to Comcast Advertising (CA) Engagement leads, driving eNPS and YourVoice action planning within the Media Sales organization.
- Act as a key point of contact (POC) for HR Centers of Excellence (COEs)
- Conduct research on employee issues, gathering insights, and executing broader HR initiatives.
- Represent HR as the POC for special projects initiated by business leaders, ensuring seamless HR integration and execution.
- Utilize strong data analytics skills to track, monitor, and report progress on key initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive HR best practices and continuous improvement in people-related initiatives.
HR Business Partner Related Responsibilities:
- Counsels, orientates and trains managers and supervisors on the interpretation and administration of Human Resources policies. Administers Human Resources policies and procedures as they pertain to all employees.
- Oversees, handles and manages employee relations issues. Assists with employee counseling, discipline and grievance handling.
- Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to maintain efficient and effective services.
- Ensures compliance with state, local and federal guidelines and policies to protect the business and its employees.
- Partners with management to ensure strategic HR goals, policies and programs are aligned with business initiatives.
- Administers compensation programs and assists in job analysis, job evaluation and performance management to ensure compliance with division guidelines.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience
- Strong analytical skills are essential.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and execute HR initiatives with measurable business impact.
- Experience managing organizational design and change management efforts.
- Proven ability to analyze HR data and metrics, translating insights into strategic recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering across HR COEs and business leaders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization.

Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
