Manager, Corporate Partnerships
Job Summary
The Manager, Corporate Partnerships is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic corporate partnership opportunities across Comcast Spectacor’s portfolio of sports, entertainment, and venue properties including Xfinity Mobile Arena, Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Wings, Big5 Classic, and Stateside Live!. This role leads the full sales cycle—from prospecting to contract execution—while also managing and growing an assigned portfolio of existing partners to ensure long-term value, revenue growth, and world-class client service. The ideal candidate is a proven revenue-generator with strong relationship-building skills, a consultative sales approach, and a deep understanding of integrated marketing solutions within sports and entertainment environments with strong relationships throughout the Philadelphia business community.Job Description
Partnership Sales & Business Development
- Identify, research, and cultivate new business prospects across key industries to generate revenue through multi-platform corporate partnerships.
- Develop customized partnership proposals using data-driven insights, fan engagement trends, market analysis, and creative activation opportunities.
- Conduct in-person and virtual sales presentations to senior-level decision-makers.
- Oversee the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and internal stakeholders.
- Consistently meet or exceed annual revenue targets.
Partnership Management & Activation
- Serve as primary day-to-day contact for assigned corporate partners, ensuring execution of contractual assets.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams (Activations, Solutions, Marketing, Game Presentation, Digital, Events, Operations, etc.) to deliver exceptional partner experiences and activation results.
- Renew and grow existing partnerships by identifying upsell opportunities and expanding engagements across Comcast Spectacor platforms.
Cross-Functional & Strategic Collaboration
- Partner with leadership to develop innovative partnership products and inventory.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of industry trends, sponsorship best practices, and competitive marketplace activity.
- Represent Comcast Spectacor at games, events, networking functions, and hospitality engagements to strengthen relationships and drive new business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, or related field required.
- 5 -7+ years of partnership sales, account management, or business development experience within sports, entertainment, media, or agency environment.
- Proven track record of closing multi-year, high six-figure+ partnership deals.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with C-level executives, senior marketers, and agency partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and presentation software.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
