Manager, Content and Platform Partnerships
Job Summary
This critical position within Programming & Partnerships will play a key role in the management and growth of programmer relationships. This individual will be responsible for oversight of key content partnerships to drive business goals and manage requirements for internal and external stakeholders. This role will work closely with our distribution, editorial, operations, marketing, and product teams to ensure consistent communication and facilitate the successful integration of partner content across all Comcast platforms. This individual should be an entertainment enthusiast and a team player with proven ability to manage multiple projects and partners and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Manage programmer partnerships and related requirements leveraging cross-functional relationships across Editorial, Marketing, Operations, Content Acquisition, and additional teams
- Utilize data driven insights to identify and develop differentiated content opportunities to drive growth, profitability, and product adoption
- Facilitate, track and manage commitments to ensure compliance, including oversight of promotional tactics and marketing deployment
- Develop a thorough understanding of programmer content strategies and windowing to develop recommendations of prioritized content for driving business goals
- Support end-to-end planning for business reviews and content stunts including executive presentations, and development of materials, track key deadlines and deliverables, update internal and sales communications
- Ability to partner with analytics leads to create and evaluate case studies and performance to inform content strategy
- Support additional internal requests related to content audits and evaluation; ad-hoc program management as needed
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Ability to work nights, weekends and variable schedule as needed for project/stunt support.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- Requires 5-7 years related experience; 3-5 Years of experience in TV or related entertainment industry preferred
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and experience working with reporting tools
- Ability to handle a high volume of projects simultaneously, keeping pace in a quickly moving department
- Diligent and resourceful critical thinker who maintains a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Excellent written and communication skills; extraordinary attention to detail, keen organizational and analytical skills; proactive self-starter who shows initiative
- Solution oriented; ability to strategically and creatively problem-solve
- Team player; can-do attitude; willing to jump in and out of multiple assignments as needed
- Ability to interact with all levels of personnel, internal and external
- Passion for television and entertainment
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional environment developing and build relationships
