Job Summary
The Executive Director, Corporate Communications – Competitive & Customer Experience will lead communications strategy for two critical priorities: strengthening Xfinity's competitive position and advancing the company's customer experience transformation. This leader will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, shaping narratives that reinforce Xfinity's marketplace leadership and communicate the brand’s vision and progress in creating a world-class customer experience.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead communications strategy for competitive and customer experience priorities, ensuring messaging advances Xfinity’s reputation, market position, customer trust, and long-term business objectives.
- Translate competitive insights and customer experience priorities into high-impact storytelling that differentiates Xfinity’s products, network performance, value proposition, and customer benefits across earned, owned, and internal channels.
- Establish and oversee a best-in-class competitive intelligence and response framework, enabling proactive narrative shaping, rapid response, and coordinated execution at national and regional levels.
- Frame and communicate Xfinity’s customer experience transformation narrative, connecting current progress with a forward-looking approach to best-in-class CX.
- Develop communications strategies that showcase the future of CX, including AI-enabled experiences, proactive service, predictive support, digital-first tools, and more personalized customer engagement.
- Drive cross-functional integration with Customer Experience, Product, Marketing, Social, Digital, Field, and Care teams to deliver unified messaging across initiatives, launches, issues, and proof points.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in developing enterprise-level communications strategies that drive reputation, engagement, and business impact.
- Deep expertise in media relations, crisis management, and competitive positioning across traditional, digital, and social platforms.
- Proven ability to lead multicultural programs and embed cultural intelligence into enterprise communications.
- Exceptional executive presence, strategic influence, and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to counsel C-suite leaders and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Strong financial and operational acumen with experience managing large-scale budgets and organizational resources.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in communications, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
