About the Role:
The Engagement Manager, Syndication Partnerships is responsible for the successful deployment of Comcast Products and Services to our Syndication Partners. This includes but is not limited to scope definition, budget management, project schedule ownership, technical dependency management, risk identification and mitigation, and operational process definition.
A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong collaborative spirit, an extreme sense of accountability and associated work ethic, technical proficiency with impeccable attention to detail, the ability to motivate a large team regardless of reporting structure and an ability to solve problems in disparate domains. As a member of the team, you’ll need to have the ability to understand the fundamentals of the latest video technology and what it takes to launch large scale video services and features that involve multiple teams within and outside of Comcast.
The position requires excellent communication skills, being equally comfortable and credible engaging with the C level Executive Suite or Engineering teams. A successful candidate will foster a highly collaborative approach internally and externally and possess a natural tendency to look beyond the confines of the role to drive business value across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Portfolio and Delivery Management
- Maintain ownership of the delivery of Comcast Products of Services to the customer.
- Responsible and accountable in the planning, development and delivery of all customer facing programs.
- Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously managing complex technical dependencies to drive positive outcomes for our customers and business.
Delivery Execution
- Work alongside fellow team members to help drive towards a repeatable, scalable delivery framework.
- Identification of initiatives that drive quality and consistency in the delivery of services with customer experience at the forefront of thinking.
- Be a strategic advisor across all your initiatives, so all stakeholders see you as an expert in delivery.
- Build and own relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders both internally within and externally.
Pre Sales Engagement
- Supporting pre sales efforts as required.
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience delivering large-scale software and hardware projects.
- Strong client-facing and consultative skills.
- Confident in leading meetings with senior technical, product, and business stakeholders, owning communication and delivery outcomes.
- Strategic, pragmatic and collaborative problem-solver with a positive mindset.
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and consistent track record of delivering on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving, issue-resolution, and multitasking skills in deadline driven environments.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, design, product, and operations teams.
- Comfortable discussing technical concepts, managing tradeoffs, and evaluating new ideas with internal and external partners.
- Experience with Agile development teams.
- Knowledge of tracking and reporting tools (JIRA, Smartsheet).
- Strong project/program financial and budget management skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning new skills and practices.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Successful track record in large transformation efforts.
- Strong belief in Agile/Lean working practices.
- Experience in fast-paced digital environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
