Director, Wireless Partnerships & Development
Job Summary
Responsible for managing Comcast’s key mobile carrier relationships. Manages the activities and coordinates internal and external relationships to achieve business objectives. Analyzes and evaluates strategic business opportunities, initiatives, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures. Conducts market analysis, researches and monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Assists in the planning, development, and analysis of business objectives, long-range and strategic plans, and organizational strengths and weakness. Cultivates internal and external relationships to deliver business outcomes. Provides subject matter guidance to employees as required. Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies. Assists in development and meeting of departmental budget.Job Description
As Director, Wireless Partnerships & Development, you will:
- Have an opportunity to be part of the Wireless Strategic Development Group, one of the fastest growing teams at Comcast
- Be exposed to and participate in executive-level strategic decisions about the company’s future
- Support the group’s efforts in identifying, evaluating and implementing wireless growth initiatives
- Develop and manage relationships with key business partners
- Help drive efforts related to licensed and unlicensed spectrum opportunities
- Be part of a team of agile and motivated high-performers
- Report to the Senior Director of Wireless Partnerships & Development
Primary responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day management and ongoing optimization of Comcast’s key mobile carrier relationships
- Collaborate with internal product and technology groups to established priorities with external partners and drive overall business objectives
- Drive the group’s efforts in identifying, analyzing and developing growth opportunities regarding key wireless industry trends such as new products, features, 5G, IoT, and fixed mobile convergence
- Evaluate, prioritize and develop wireless growth initiatives including their cost/benefit implications (e.g., business case) and operational requirements (e.g., trial, deployment)
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisitions and/or partnerships to support Comcast’s wireless growth
- Help transform growth initiatives into commercial go-to-market plans. Support implementation within Comcast’s business units across technology, product, marketing, pricing, finance and other functional areas
- Work as part of a team that collaborates across all of Comcast’s businesses globally
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education
Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
