Job Summary
The Director, Strategic Finance & Insights is a strategic leader and trusted advisor to Comcast stakeholders, responsible for translating complex financial, subscriber, and industry data into actionable insights that drive decision-making and long-term value creation. Operating at the intersection of finance and strategy, this role plays a critical part in shaping how the company evaluates performance, prioritizes investments, and positions itself across the competitive landscape. This leader will bring an insight-driven approach to organic and inorganic growth opportunity assessment, competitive benchmarking, and long-term scenario planning. The role requires strong financial and analytical acumen, a forward-looking mindset, and the ability to connect industry dynamics with internal performance to inform investment decisions, evaluate growth opportunities, and guide senior leadership.Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, translating complex financial, subscriber, and industry data into actionable insights that drive long-term value creation.
- Lead the development of financial, customer, and operational analyses that directly shape enterprise strategy and investment prioritization decisions.
- Own and evolve enterprise financial and subscriber models to enable long-range planning, network investment decisions, and evaluation of strategic initiatives.
- Develop and apply strategic frameworks to assess customer value, profitability, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and market intelligence analysis, synthesizing insights into recommendations that highlight strategic opportunities.
- Lead enterprise scenario planning, evaluating “what-if” and competitive scenarios to inform capital allocation, investment prioritization, risk management, and executive decision-making.
- Translate complex analyses and scenario outcomes into clear, executive-ready narratives for C-suite and Board-level audiences.
- Partner cross-functionally with Strategy, Business Development, and Finance teams to align on organic and inorganic growth opportunities and enterprise priorities.
- Leverage advanced analytics to uncover key business drivers and strengthen a data-driven decision-making culture.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
