Role Description
Love sports? Obsessed with how fans experience the biggest moments in entertainment? The Sports Entertainment team at Comcast is where strategy meets adrenaline. We’re the team behind how millions of Xfinity customers watch the March Madness, the MLB season, The Players Championship, and more — and we’re just getting started. From product innovation to go-to-market execution, we’re shaping the future of sports viewing. You’ll help bring major sports events to life across Xfinity platforms, support cross-functional campaigns, and contribute to the strategy behind the product features fans love. What You’ll Do:

You’ll support planning, conduct competitive research, track timelines, and collaborate with teams across marketing, PR, legal, and content. You’ll also contribute to leadership presentations and brainstorm new fan engagement ideas that could shape future experiences.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
Help analyze and improve how users discover live sports across Xfinity platforms. This could involve researching search behavior, testing new navigation flows, or benchmarking against competitors like YouTube TV or Amazon Prime.
Dive into usage data for features like multiview, sports hubs, or real-time stats overlays. Help identifywhat’s working, what’s not, and where there’s opportunity to innovate.
Join brainstorms and competitive research to pitch new ideas — from interactive features to fan engagement tools — that could shape the future of sports on Xfinity.

Where can this student make an impact?
You can make a real impact by contributing to the planning and execution of events including theMasters and NFL and college football season and help to ensure that millions of fans have a seamless, engaging experience across Xfinity platforms. Your work can directly influence how content is surfaced, promoted, and consumed.
