Role Description

Are you passionate about digital media, entertainment, and software services? Do you like big challenges and working within a highly motivated team environment? 

As aSoftware Engineering Intern on the GTO Marketing Technologies team, you will work on solving problems that will enable us to integrate our Customer Data platform seamlessly with our Audience Management and Campaign Management platforms. This integration will allow us to create Omnichannel audiencesand effective marketing campaigns to further drive revenue growth for Comcast.

What are some interesting problems the student will work on? 

You will work on cutting edge ETL and real time Data streaming problems. You will Develop scripts, APIs and utilities to automate data collection from many different data sources – external and internal. You will write automation test cases to further our QA maturity. You will work on creating interactive dashboards that allow us to measure and improve our KPIs.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of MarTech tools and platforms: Learn the ins and outs of our tech stack, and help us build custom integrations, workflows, and automations.

  • Data analysis and reporting: Dive into our marketing data to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities for optimization. Create reports and visualizations to communicate your findings to the team.

  • Technical troubleshooting: Help diagnose and resolve technical issues with our MarTech tools and platforms. 

  • Work closely with other members of the MarTech team, as well as colleagues in marketing, sales, and product development.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

PreferredSkills

  • Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or other relevant languages for automating tasks and interacting with APIs.

  • Experience with SQL or other data manipulation tools for querying databases and extracting insights.

  • Experience with analyzing data

  • Preferred Majors: Computer science, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university 

  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)

  • Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)

  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025

  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Salary:

Base Pay: $32.00
