Role Description

InNOMAD,we’rebuildinga faster interaction with the internetfor our customers using containerized, microservice-based, cloud-deployedservices.
As a software engineer in theNOMADEngineering team,you will be part of a team that is building next generation access network which will help deliver HSD,Voiceand Video services. The softwareapplicationswe are building is a containerized, microservice-based, cloud-deployed services. We are looking for talented individuals that will work on applications to automate configuration generation, softwaredeploymentand troubleshooting. These applications are intended to run on our lab systems as well as on our production systems.
What are some interesting problems the student willwork on?
- Developing solutions that automates and orchestrate huge manual error-prone procedures
- Developing tools that will measure effectiveness of such automation products to further improve
- Implement solutions that are R&D based oncutting edgetechnologies.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Employ test-driven development to write production-ready code
- Perform code reviews
- Participate in an agile Scrum software development framework
- Contributetodesign and architecture sessions
- Collaborate constructively with team members
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
PreferredSkills
- Knowledge of data structure and algorithm design
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
- Experience in Test-driven development/test automation, continuous integration, and deployment automation
- Adaptable,proactiveand willing to take ownership
- Good communicator, able to analyze and clearly articulate complex issues and technologies understandably and engagingly
- Experienceinprogramming (Python,Javascript, Golang, Java)
- Great designand problem-solving skills, with a strong bias for architecting at scale
- Preferred Majors:Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering
MinimumQualificationsand Eligibility Requirements
- Currentlypursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
- Available to work40 hoursper week for 6 months startingSeptember 22,2026,throughMarch 26, 2027.
- Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
- Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting

Salary:
Base Pay: $32.00
