Comcast’s Technology, Product & Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of media and technology. Our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products that transform the customer experience.The Integrated Engagement Experiences (IEE) team in TPX focuses on delivering interactive sports entertainment experiences to our TV video product customers.
Sports entertainment is the epitome of reality TV. The live nature of sports entertainment creates unique opportunities to deliver engaging customer experiences combining media, technology, and art. The cyclical nature of sports leagues seasons and competitions provides an exciting environment of short-/mid-/long-term efforts. The IEE team sits at the cusp of integrating new technologies, patterns, & products to engage our customers in the sports entertainment landscape of our video products.
Role Description

As anSoftware Engineering Full Stack Developer Co-op on the IEE team, your thirts will be quenched.
A Full Stack Developer is responsible for end-to-end ownership of projects across the entire stack. Build products with web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple Backend languages. Solve challenges that impact both the Front-End and Backend architecture, while delivering global customer experiences.

In your role, you willserve as a scaling agent to help evolve new products & features developed by the team. You will become a SME on operational aspects of our products, identify opportunities for efficiency, work with team to define a solution to address the efficiency, propose/develop the solution with team support, deliver and measure the impacts for the team and for our partners.

There is never a dull moment working in sports entertainment. Our team continuously delivers to the challenges of sports entertainment experiences to increase the value delivered to our customers. Each sport product experience is designed to evolve across sports, leagues, partners, & platforms. Each sport, league, partner, & platform introduce different combinations of components, patterns, processes & interfaces. These combinations will inherently create inefficiencies within the overall ecosystem. Because of resource constraints, these inefficiencies are typically managed tactically to meet a product release schedule. You’ll be working in a fast-paced delivery environment to help solve mid-/long-term inefficiencies to improve our products ability to scale as they evolve.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work with engineering team, product, and UX to understand new requirements.
Implement new APIs, backend services, Front-End UI components, and automation tasks to specification provided with the assistance of senior team members.
Understand platform usage and assist with production deployments and customer issue triage. Work with engineering team to build backend applications that can be hosted on Cloud Platforms.
Develop web applications with the assistance of senior team members that can function during backend service and internet connectivity interruptions.
With the assistance of senior team members, use tools to identify and mitigate production incidents within the defined MTTR (Mean Time To Recover) KPI.
Focus on creating re-usable web components that can be leveraged by multiple teams, if needed.
Create self-contained microservices or APIs to support the business logic.
Develop using the defined coding standards and practices established by the team.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
- Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 30, 2026, through September 18, 2026.
- Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
- Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting
