Organization & Team Overview
Enterprise Business Intelligence is a center of excellence comprised of Engineers, Analysts, Scientists, and Machine Learning experts working to translate Comcast’s data into actionable intelligence that drives profitable growth for the company. As a member of this team, you’ll be at the forefront of developing data driven strategies to address business problems.
The Human Resources / Workforce Enterprise Analytics group partners with HR and business leaders to translate workforce and people data into actionable insights. As a member of this team, you will help transform data into insights that improve how the organization attracts, rewards, and develops its people.
Role Description
As an HR / Workforce Data & Analytics Co‑op, you will leverage data, analysis, and insights to help answer complex workforce‑related business questions. This role involves working with structured datasets and applying analytical and statistical techniques—including predictive modeling and experimentation—to generate insights that inform both business and HR strategy. You will use programming skills to aggregate, transform, and analyze data. In partnership with team members and HR stakeholders, you will translate business problems into analytical approaches and communicate findings through clear, compelling data storytelling.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyze workforce data using statistical and analytical methods to identify trends and insights related to headcount, compensation, hiring, attrition, internal mobility, and productivity
- Build forecasting models to support sales target planning and quantify how different business performance scenarios impact individual commission earnings
- Partner with compensation and sales compensation teams to evaluate incentive plan effectiveness, payout distributions, and return on investment
- Apply analytical techniques to assess alignment between employee performance, compensation outcomes, and broader business results
- Translate ambiguous business and HR questions into structured analytical approaches and actionable insights
- Develop and execute analytical and statistical solutions to business problems under the guidance of senior team members
- Research and apply existing and emerging workforce analytics and data science concepts to inform decision‑making
- Ensure analytical outputs are accurate, intuitive, and tailored to the intended audience
- Clearly communicate analytical findings, assumptions, and limitations to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of standardized metrics, frameworks, and analytical best practices
- Support a culture of data‑driven decision‑making within HR and across the business
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Skills
- Coursework or project experience in data analytics, statistics, economics, or a related field
- Understanding of advanced statistical techniques and their applications
- Experience using Python and/or R for data analysis (academic or project-based experience is acceptable)
- Proficiency retrieving and manipulating data using SQL
- Comfort working with large, real-world datasets
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Curiosity about business problems and a desire to ask thoughtful questions
- Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly and effectively
- Preferred Majors: Mathematics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Statistics, Data Science
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
- Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting September 22, 2026, through March 26, 2027.
- Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
- Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting

Salary:
Base Pay: $7.25
