Organization & Team Overview
Comcast’s Technology & Product organization designs, develops and supports innovative products and services that bring broadband, wireless, video and voice experiences to residential and business customers throughout the world, with more than 57 million customer relationships across the U.S. and Europe. The team also works to ensure the performance of our network in the U.S., including speeds and capacity that customers rely on to stay connected to what matters most, and builds and operations mission-critical systems, including those that monitor our network and its associated cloud infrastructure.

As a DevOps Intern, you’ll be joining a dynamic and diverse group of engineers and visionary professionals who thrive on solving complex problems and supporting one another.Our team is responsible for building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that powers our organization’s software solutions.
Role Description
As a DevOps Intern, you’ll be embedded in a collaborative environment of engineers, developers, and security experts who are passionate about solving complex challenges and mentoring the next generation of tech leaders. If you're eager to learn, contribute, and grow alongside a diverse and visionary team, this is where your journey begins.
In your role, you will…
Support cloud infrastructure operations by helping build, monitor, and maintain scalable environments.
Collaborate across teams—working closely with developers, network engineers, and security experts to ensure smooth delivery of software products.
Automate workflows and contribute to CI/CD pipelines that improve deployment speed and reliability.
Learn and apply DevOps best practices in real-world scenarios, gaining hands-on experience with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud platforms.
Solve meaningful problems in a supportive, fast-paced environment where your ideas and contributions matter.
You'll dive into real-world challenges that shape the reliability and scalability of our software products. You’ll help automate infrastructure deployments, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and enhance system monitoring and alerting. Your work will directly impact how quickly and securely our teams deliver software, improving developer productivity and system resilience. Whether it's refining cloud architecture or integrating security into workflows, your contributions will help driveinnovation and operational excellence across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist in automating cloud infrastructure deployment and management using Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
Support CI/CD pipeline development and optimization for faster, more reliable software delivery.
Monitor system performance and help build dashboards and alerting mechanisms.
Collaborate with development, network, and security teams to ensure secure and scalable environments.
Contribute to internal tooling that improves developer experience and operational efficiency.
Participate in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Basics of at least one of these languages: Java, Python, Go.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Majors: Computer Science,Information Technology,Software Engineering,Cybersecurity
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2026- Spring 2028)
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating)
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
