Comcast's Corporate Communications team in Philadelphia, PA creates and executes communications strategies that support the company’s overall reputation, including cross-company moments and purpose-driven initiatives.
Role Description
You’ll support the team that creates and manages the corporation’s advertising, digital content, the corporate website as well as all efforts to promote Comcast’s brand online and across social channels. The team is responsible for Comcast’s reputation online throughout all its digital and social channels, as well as content published through those channels.
As a Website Management Intern, you will play a key role in ensuring our website is fresh, accurate, and compelling. This hands-on role offers a behind-the-scenes look at how a corporate website is developed and maintained, balancing both technical updates and fresh content in a fast-paced environment.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
In your role, you’ll support the technical side of our website while helping bring to life the content through immersive storytelling. You’ll gain experience using design tools like Figma and build proficiency in project management platforms such as Jira and Airtable. Projects could include tracking content updates, building pages that highlight major company, and more. This role will give you a well-rounded view of how a corporate website comes to life and stays current, as well as broad exposer to the Corporate Communications team.
Where can this student make an impact?
You’ll be working with a strong group of individuals across the Corporate Communications department, specifically with the team responsible for keeping our corporate website accurate, engaging, and high performing. Success in this role means ensuring the site is always up to date, is intuitive and easy to navigate, and brings our brand to life through compelling storytelling.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support ongoing website maintenance to keep content timely, engaging, and on-brand.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the latest and most important information is reflected on their pages.
Coordinate the flow of press releases from design to publishing teams for timely posting.
Perform content audits for accuracy and quality.
Support project management efforts by helping organize action items, timelines, and team communications.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Skills
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
Strong interpersonal skills
Flexible and adaptable
Must have excellent time management and verbal/written communication skills
Must have great attention to detail and organizational skills
Must have ability to interface with all levels of management
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
Background in project management a plus
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Majors: Communications, Marketing, Digital Media
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2026- Spring 2028)
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating)
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
