RoleOverview
The Content Acquisition Strategy Team at Comcast is responsible for developing strategic insights and supporting negotiations with major content providers such as Disney, NBCUniversal, Fox, and others.
As a Content Acquisition Strategy Analyst Co-op, you will play a critical role in supporting our team through financial modeling, strategic analysis, and industry research.
Who You’ll Work With:
You will work closely with the Head of Content Acquisition Strategy and other senior members of the content acquisition team. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with internal partners and interact with stakeholders from various departments, gaining exposure to a broad network within Comcast.

Your work will directly influence how Comcast approaches its content negotiations, helping shape the strategic direction of the company’s video business.
In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in financial modeling and strategic business analysis designed to prepare you for future opportunities in finance, consulting, or strategy jobs. By building, maintaining, and refining financial models and understanding the landscape of the content and media industry, you will contribute to critical decisions that impact Comcast’s position in the market.
Co-opresponsibilitiesincludebutare not limitedto:
Building, maintaining, and managing financial models from both internal sources and Wall Street banks like Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and others.
Analyzing these models to understand how external stakeholders perceive TV content programmers and distributors.
Creating and updating PowerPoint presentations to communicate strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Reviewing and synthesizing equity research reports from top research firms like Moffett Nathanson to understand key financial and strategic implications.
Providing detailed analytical support during content negotiations by ensuring models are current, accurate, and reflective of the latest industry trends.
Conducting competitive analysis to compare packages, channels, and pricing across various competitors and markets
PreferredQualifications
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an ability to break down complex problems
Keen interest in financial analysis, strategic consulting, or business problem solving.
Familiarity with financial modeling techniques, even at a basic level, is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret complex financial reports and strategic documents.
Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner, in writing, in presentations (via PowerPoint), and verbally.
Self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities and intellectual curiosity.
Experience with financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ) is a plus but not required.
Preferred Majors: Finance, Economics, Business, Math, or related fields. However, candidates from diverse academic backgrounds (e.g., Art History) with strong analytical skills are encouraged to apply.
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, withacooperative learningtrack.
