This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization & Team Overview
The Local Media Development (LMD) team delivers purpose-driven public programming, annual corporate State & Local Investment Reports, campus content and experiences, and essential administrative communications to advance Comcast NBCUniversal’s core values, local relationships, and influence.
Role Description
The Campus Tour Program offers a 360-degree view into where our employees work to imagine the future. The 75-minute tour — led by a personal Tour Ambassador — showcases our unique vertical campus and educates teammates, partners, and clients about our history, company culture, technology and products, and the impact we make on our beloved hometown and beyond. Over 600 tours have been offered since the program’s 2018 launch.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as an ambassador of the Comcast NBCUniversal brand as part of a comprehensive tour program showcasing Comcast’s headquarters campus.
Independently lead 75-minute campus tours for internal and external stakeholders, executive leaders, student groups, and VIP guests.
Coordinate and support tour program daily operations, including client communications, data reporting, and other short-term and long-term program initiatives.
Contribute to other various projects and initiatives within LMD, based on area of study and skill set.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Skills
Strong written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to memorize 75-minute tour script and deliver consistently multiple times per day, several days per week.
Ability to effectively interface with diverse audiences including Comcast employees, executive leaders, elected officials, and student groups.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Preferred Majors: Tourism/Hospitality Management, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Political Science, Production, Business Administration, Operations Management, International Studies.
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting September 22, 2025, through March 27, 2026.
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting
