Organization & Team Overview
The Comcast Campus Events team plans, manages, and executes a variety of events throughout the Comcast Campus Philadelphia, as well as supports several offsite events that are planned across the country. The team is comprised of event professionals who creatively develop, pitch, manage, and execute world class experiences for all Comcast employees and often the surrounding city community members to enhance the campus experience for employees and visitors alike. The team works to ensure events are planned creatively, communicated efficiently, and executed seamlessly by collaborating with a number of Comcast teams including Catering, Security, Communications, Facilities and more. Over 200 events are planned within a calendar year including brand activations, corporate receptions, pep rallies, engagement offerings, and many others!
Role Description

The Campus Events co-op is an essential role in supporting the Events team for the ComcastCampus Philadelphia. You will join a dynamic, fast paced, and collaborative team to play a hands-on role in creating moments that connect, inspire, and leave a lasting impression. By servicing clients todeliver a seamless event reception or devising unique activations to engage the larger campus, you will be supporting the planning, management, and execution of events for the Comcast companythrough guidance and education from event professionals. Responsibilities include devising creative event concepts, providing white glove customer service to event clients, researching new event vendors and venues, drafting event proposals and promotion, assembling gift bags, along with other daily miscellaneous event tasks. You will support the Campus Events Team with onsite event execution and all event preparation. Other duties as assigned.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
In your role, you will support the pre-event partner relationships and onsite event execution. You will be responsible for supporting the event leads in ensuring all details have been communicated to partners clearly and efficiently.As with all events, last-minute changes or needs often arise, and you will be pivotal in supporting the team to quickly and calmly resolve and execute event needs to provide a seamless experience for attendees.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support the planning and execution of internal and external events, from small meetings to large-scale activations
Assist with event logistics including venue research, vendor coordination, budget planning, and material preparation
Attend planning meetings and contribute creative ideas for programming, experiences, and engagement
Create event documents including, but not limited to, guest lists, run-of-show, and floor plans; communicate to event stakeholders
Support on-site event execution including setup, guest check-in, troubleshooting, and breakdown
Research trends, venues, talent, and vendors to keep our events fresh and forward-thinking
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Provide white glove hospitality service for event clients and attendees
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); proficiency in Adobe products and/or Canva is a plus but not required.
Excellent time and project management, attention to detail, and organization and delegation skills.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills, and customer service skills.
The ability to effectively interface with all levels of management including senior management.
Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Experience with program and event management preferred.
Preferred Majors: Communications, Business, Marketing, Entertainment and Arts Management, Hospitality Management, Sports Management
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 30, 2026, through September 18, 2026.
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting
