Job Summary
Join Comcast’s elite corporate flight team as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician supporting our Gulfstream and Falcon fleet. You’ll perform critical inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs to ensure the safe, reliable operation of our aircraft.Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated individual to join our Flight Department Maintenance Team. This role supports the safe operation of corporate aircraft by performing routine and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, inspections, and services. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong technical knowledge, a commitment to excellence, and a collaborative spirit.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive tasks on assigned aircraft.
- Perform unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed.
- Launch and recover aircraft, including fueling, towing, and marshalling duties.
- Conduct preflight and postflight inspections and services.
- Maintain accurate and timely aircraft maintenance records in accordance with FAA and company regulations.
- Communicate effectively with flight crews, operations, facilities management, and regulatory personnel.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with all safety protocols.
- Assist and mentor junior team members as needed.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification required.
- 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience; corporate aviation experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Gulfstream and/or Falcon aircraft is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and documentation procedures.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- Willingness to travel and support aircraft away from base as required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks for ramp/badge access.
- Must be able to work on-site at the flight department hangar.
