Job Summary

Responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing and reporting data related to Engineering Operations. Produces complex, high-priority recurring and ad-hoc reports with the purpose of measuring progress towards goals, measuring performance against objectives and identifying improvement opportunities. Consults directly with internal and external customers. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Job Description

Job Summary:

This position plays a critical role in driving data-informed decisions that enhance product quality and reliability across consumer devices. This role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive mindset to identify trends, solve complex problems, and support strategic initiatives. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and customer experience teams to ensure data accuracy, actionable insights, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze device performance, reliability KPI’s, device telemetry and metrics, and customer satisfaction (CSat) data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Own and drive analysis for key initiatives, including error tracking, ticket resolution trends, and release impact assessments.
  • Collaborate with our stakeholder teams to align on priorities and ensure timely delivery of insights.
  • Develop decks to communicate findings to an executive audience.
  • Support working groups focused on high-impact reliability issues, contributing to root cause analysis and solution tracking.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Assist in expanding the team’s global data capabilities through partnerships or direct access to datasets.

Must Have Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in data analysis in a product or quality-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data tools; experience with visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Amazon Quicksights).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into executive friendly verbiage and actionable insights.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
