Job Summary

Responsible for helping lead the creation and optimization of supply and production plans for equipment and related materials across the enterprise. Responsibilities include gathering data and inputs to the plan, tracking inventory levels, and daily monitoring of key performance indicators to ensure quality and production requirements are being met. This role partners with many stakeholders to ensure alignment on sales and operations planning (S&OP) inputs/outputs. Has in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priority. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of strategic business plans for the supply chain planning function.
  • Prepare, communicate, and monitor production and capacity plans, including both forward and reverse logistics.
  • Analyze system data to identify trends and patterns; provide recommendations to management for process and control improvements.
  • Support Master Data Management (MDM) policies to ensure consistency, accuracy, and control in the maintenance and use of planning data.
  • Coordinate with the Business Intelligence and Analytics team to develop reports, dashboards, interfaces, and extensions for planning applications.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain operations team to support effective vendor management of third-party logistics providers.
  • Utilize established supply chain systems, processes, and tools to drive effective materials management, planning, forecasting, network optimization, and transportation management.
  • Manage small to medium performance improvement projects aimed at increasing production quality and capacity for both forward and reverse logistics.
  • Communicate project timelines, deliverables, and risks to the supply chain leadership team.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process; initiate change requests to incorporate new products into planning and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of repeatable and scalable plans and processes to accelerate time to market and improve operational efficiency.
  • Mentor junior analysts to ensure accurate and high-quality work.
  • Demonstrate advanced working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems or the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as needed.
  • Build and maintain financial forecasting based on purchasing needs and be able to demonstrate understanding of purchasing discrepancies against forecast.
  • Work with warehousing operations, along with outsourced warehousing resources, to schedule production of WIP supply to meet the FG supply needs.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
