Job Summary

Comcast Spectacor, a leading sports and entertainment organization, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our Finance & Accounting team. This internship offers hands-on experience in core accounting functions and exposure to financial operations within our professional sports and entertainment properties, including the Philadelphia Flyers and Xfinity Mobile Arena.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and monthly/quarterly reports.
  • Help maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations, researching any discrepancies.
  • Assist with budget tracking and variance analysis.
  • Conduct basic financial research and compile reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance team. 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
  • High level of proficiency with technology.
  • Prior business exposure through internships, work experience, or campus organizations preferred
  • Desire to learn
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment while meeting deadlines 
  • Strong analytical skills with consistent and reliable attention to detail, accuracy, and validity.
  • Ability to think independently and work collaboratively.

Salary:

Base Pay: $15.00
