Sr. Analyst, Enterprise Data Analytics - Comcast Advertising

Comcast Advertising is driving the TV advertising industry forward, from delivering ads to linear and digital audiences to pioneering the tech that makes it possible. We help brands connect with their audiences on every screen using advanced data, technology, and premium video content. Our media sales division helps local, regional, and national brands reach potential customers through multiscreen TV advertising. Our ad tech division FreeWheel provides comprehensive adtech that makes it easier to buy and sell premium video advertising across all screens, data types, and sales channels.

Job Summary

The Analyst 2 will support business decision-making through advanced analytics, reporting, and data-driven insights. Working closely with business stakeholders and technology teams, this role is responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing reporting solutions, validating data quality, and identifying opportunities to improve business performance. The position supports enterprise data initiatives by partnering with stakeholders to deliver analytical solutions that drive informed business decisions. Success in this role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while driving work independently in a dynamic environment. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work for Comcast in the United States without a current or potential future need for sponsorship.

Job Description

• Collaborating with business leaders to discern data requirements and crafting technical specifications for analytics
• Proficiency in Databricks and SQL, with the ability to analyze, query, and interpret large datasets to generate actionable business insights.
• Evaluating data relevance, sourcing alternatives, and ensuring robust analytics for stakeholder inquiries
• Employing self-service tools to analyze complex datasets, extracting actionable business insights
• Merging datasets from varied sources to support thorough business analysis
• Conducting exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and pinpointing key business drivers
• Developing predictive models for sales, demand, and other vital business metrics
• Assessing campaign outcomes, measuring effectiveness, and pinpointing enhancement opportunities
• Ensuring compliance with data governance policies and standards across analytics practices
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
