Job Summary

Comcast Business offers business-grade products, services, and expertise tailored to meet the complex and diverse needs of businesses of all sizes, supported by a next-generation network backed by 24/7 technical support. This is an exciting opportunity to drive strategic, communications for the business as a Specialist 2, Frontline Communications. In this role, you will help define, develop, and execute internal frontline communications projects and content, leveraging a suite of messaging tools. The candidate selected for the position will partner with other communicators and leaders to reach over 5,000 Comcast Business Care, Order Management, and HQ and Division stakeholder teammates.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manages teammate communications initiatives designed to support key business objectives, long-term goals and projects. 

  • Assists development of communications plans.

  • Writes and edits organization-wide communications.

  • Maintains and enters information into project planning platform/reporting databases/reports.

  • Assists in managing day-to-day communications support and operations.

  • Works with stakeholders to understand and communicate aligned business priorities.

  • Use a variety of communications tools:

  • Send and measure the efficacy of email campaigns using EmailOpen

  • Put forward visually appealing, accurate, grammatically correct, and succinct communications that give employees the information they need to perform their jobs using Grammarly, Canva, and other communication support tools

  • Create reports to measure KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for all communication campaigns delivered.

  • Update stakeholders regularly on all communications initiatives.

  • Attend all scheduled meetings on time and be prepared to be an active participant in the conversation.

  • Support leadership in special projects related to communications efficacy and improvement.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English, Journalism or similar program

Relative Work Experience: 

2-4+ years 

Qualifications:

  • Writing test and/or samples required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and proofreading skills, and a keen eye for detail

  • Ability to work within a fast paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across various disciplines simultaneously

  • Project Management skills 

  • Related experience in HQ and Corporate environment 

  • Accustomed to communicating to large frontline audiences

  • Ability to consistently exercise good judgement, decision making and work independently 

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required

  • Proficiency with graphic design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, etc.) is preferred

  • Proficiency with video production software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.) is preferred

  • Familiarity with business management software (SharePoint, Smartsheet, etc.) is preferred

  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required; must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary

Salary:
