Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to drive strategic, company-wide employee communications for the Customer Experience Strategy & Operations (CXSO) team as a Sr. Specialist, Employee Communications. In this role, the Sr. Specialist will develop and execute communications for internal audiences on a wide variety of related messages, programs, policies and initiatives. The Sr. Specialist will closely collaborate with other Employee Communicators and CXSO functional teams to develop and communicate executive leader messages, national programs, operational changes, events and initiatives, town halls, and integrated organization-wide communication strategies.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manages employee communications initiatives designed to support key business objectives, long-term goals and projects.
  • Assists development of communications plans.
  • Writes and edits organization-wide communications.
  • Maintains and enters data and information into project planning platform/reporting databases/reports.
  • Assists in managing day-to-day communications support and operations.
  • Works with stakeholders to understand and communicate business priorities.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree

Relative Work Experience:

3-5+ years

Qualifications:

  • Writing test and samples required
  • Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English, Journalism or similar program
  • Related experience in HQ and Corporate environment
  • Accustomed to communicating to large employee audiences
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong writing, formatting and proofreading skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to exercise decision making and work independently
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Strong proficiency in Graphic Design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, etc.) is desired
  • Experience with Video Production software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.) is desirable but not required
  • Familiarity with business management software (SharePoint, Smartsheet, etc.) is preferred
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required; must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Salary:

National Pay Range: $54,992.91 USD-$128,889.63 USD
