Unified Communications Carrier Provisioner (Hybrid)
Job Summary
The UC Carrier Provisioner serves as a technical resource responsible for all UC Porting and Number Acquisition tasks as well as assisting Unified Communications Implementation Managers (UCIMs) with routine activities. They perform tasks such as processing all Porting requests with carrier LNP teams and configuration of users, trunks, hunt groups, CC1, etc. in the BroadWorks application server. In the course of their daily tasks, the specialist will interface with PSTN carrier porting teams, the Masergy UCIM/PMs, and directly with the end customer as appropriate. Special projects will be periodically assigned.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- UC Number Provisioning - The primary responsibility of the UC Porting Specialist is new number acquisition, porting, and provisioning on a global scale. Excellent organization and multi-tasking capabilities are required as well as computer application literacy.
- BroadWorks Provisioning - Additional responsibility to assist the UCIM/PM with BroadWorks user provisioning users, features and services in the BroadWorks application server. This individual will receive detailed information about the specific project requirements from the UCIM/PM, and they will complete the BroadWorks configuration as specified.
- Ancillary Functions - The UC Porting Specialist will perform additional duties, as prescribed by the UCIMs, such as coordinating number porting activities, creating or updating customer-facing documents, verifying or collating information, and updating project plans.

Knowledge : experience of study / understanding of concept(s)
Strong technical acumen of Unified Communications services, features, and network design.
Working knowledge of MPLS, VPLS, QOS, VoIP and IP Networking.
Familiarity with telecom industry voice, data, and applications processes.
