Job Summary

The UC Carrier Provisioning Supervisor serves as a technical resource responsible for all UC Porting and Number Acquisition tasks as well as assisting Unified Communications Implementation Managers (UCIMs) with routine activities. They perform tasks such as processing all Porting requests with carrier LNP teams, Configuring users, trunks, hunt groups, CC1, etc. in the BroadWorks application server. In the course of their daily tasks, the specialist will interface with PSTN carrier porting teams, CB Masergy UCIM/PMs, and directly with the end customer as appropriate. Special projects will be periodically assigned.

UC Number Provisioning:

  • The primary responsibility is new number acquisition, porting, and provisioning on a global scale.

  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking capabilities are required.

  • Must be proficient in computer applications.

BroadWorks Provisioning

  • Additional responsibility to assist the UCIM/PM with BroadWorks user provisioning—users, features, and services in the BroadWorks application server.

  • This individual will receive detailed information about the specific project requirements from the UCIM/PM, and they will complete the BroadWorks configuration as specified.

Ancillary Functions

  • Will perform additional duties, as prescribed by the UCIMs, such as coordinating number porting activities, creating or updating customer-facing documents, verifying or collating information, and updating project plans

  • Additional duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE: experience of study / understanding of concept(s)

  • Strong technical acumen of Unified Communications services, features, and network design.

  • Working knowledge of MPLS, VPLS, QoS, VoIP, and IP Networking

  • Familiarity with telecom industry voice, data, and applications processes

SKILLS: observable competence to perform activity

  • Strong Strategic Thinking that can develop strategies to achieve organizational goals

  • Outstanding Problem Solving that can identify and take initiative to resolve problems with minimal supervision

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional time management and complex task organization

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work usually performed in an office setting

  • Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time

  • May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and / or distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Frequently required to communicate (talk), detect (hear), express oneself. The person in this position frequently communicates with internal, external clients and vendors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

  • Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office, reach with hands and arms to operation office machinery, etc.

  • Use hands / fingers to handle or feel. Constantly operated a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machine, computer and printer.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job are close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

SCHEDULE / WORK SET-UP / LOCATION

  • Nightshift (8am - 5pm PST)

  • Hybrid work set-up (3x onsite, 2x WFH per week)

  • Willing to be assigned at Ortigas, Pasig City (GLAS Tower)

  • Must be flexible with the schedule and amenable to render overtime or work on holidays if needed

  • Will follow PH Holidays

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
